Qronéctate offers free internet in Querétaro

The Qronéctate program, which involves creating free static WiFi points as well as mobile ones that offer Internet connections on buses, is part of the “Internet in the city” project that has been taking place in the Mexican state of Querétaro since late 2012.

The project now finds itself in the third phase of its development, which began on July 1 in the borough buildings and Civic Center. The goal is for everyone living in the capital to be connected, according to Mayor Roberto Loyola Vera.

Here is a presentation video about the project.
