New York City subway passengers can now make use of touch screens to find information about the metro, including routes, access and other information.
Although the project was pushed back by six months due to hardware improvements, the first screens are finally being set up in Grand Central Station.The project is a collaboration between the MTA and the control group, a local design and technology consultancy firm. It is important to note that the city is not paying for the system. Instead, it will be financed by advertisements.
