On October 23 and 24, the 2013 Intelligent Buildings Conference took place in Madrid. The event emphasized the need for multidisciplinary teams to work together in order to address the development of intelligent buildings, taking into consideration all of the phases of their life cycle.
This first edition of the congress attracted more than two hundred professionals in the world of construction, including engineers, architects, integrators, managers, property managers, etc.
One of the most notable moments of the event was the roundtable discussion moderated by Alejandro Puertas of the AEDIP. The highest representatives from the professional groups debated the subject of intelligent buildings and the contribution of the different professionals involved in their construction and management.
The meeting was so successful that a second one has already been announced for 2015 at Madrid’s IFEMA Conference Center.
