The Institute for Transportation and Development Policy, a New York-based institution that promotes sustainable transportation, awards yearly prizes to cities that best promote or represent this principle.

The 2014 winners were Buenos Aires, Argentina; Suwon, South Korea; Lanzhou, China and Indore, India.
