The Arab Future Cities Summit (AFCS) is the most important smart city event in the Middle East. This year, the summit will take place on April 7-8 in Doha, Qatar. The event, which will be celebrating its third year, will host discussions about the progress and future requirements of smart city construction throughout the entire Middle East.
The 2014 edition will address key issues such as water distribution, energy supplies, transportation, mobility, sustainable development, citizen participation through technology and smart city policies.
The exponential growth of ITC and product innovation are some of the topics that will be discussed by governmental authorities, developers, urban planners, investors, academics and international experts in order to further the development of Qatari cities.
